This Wheel is not Built for the Road

An electronic wheel that will steer you clear from troubles! In your dreams pal. I wish somebody had come up with a brilliant idea that incorporates Artificial Intelligence in tires so that accidents can be avoided. ‘High hopes,’ my friend says, ‘you better concentrate on improving your driving skills.’ Who acknowledges great minds these days, anyway!

Well, for now let us just talk about this abstract art, oops... electronic ingenuity. It did raise my hopes of driving on intelligent wheels. However it turned out to be just another design innovation.

The Wheel Computer, that’s what they call it, looks like a wheel but doesn’t act like one. The reason is it is designed for your table and not for the asphalt. On second thoughts, I reckon this device resembles one of those secret microphone systems used in detective movies. This gadget is a fully-functional computer with a CD-ROM drive and some really flashy LEDs. Now, I know why designers make bad drivers.

Are you bored out of your mind while waiting for your doc? Don’t have anything to do or fiddle with? Well, here’s something that you might be interested in. Made by Prezzy Box, the Oidz magnets are very fascinating indeed.

The cool little buggers are actually very powerful magnets that attract the user. According to the company website, even words can’t describe the sheer joy that the user gets out of these magnets. Still wondering what’s so special about them?

Well, try throwing them up in the air. You will see them coming down to earth and in the process of doing so, they will give out a weird but interesting sound. These guys look very much like meteors. Anyway, going back to fiddling, you will find these things handy if you have a habit of fiddling with things during a phone conversation.

The magnets are made out of hematite. Equipped with strong magnetic materials, I am positive that these things will perform some unique stunts. Measuring just 6×2-cm, these cute toys are available at the Prezzybox site for only 8.95 pounds. So what are you still waiting for? Get yourself one today.

A Korean company is trying to cash in on the euphoria that is gaining momentum ahead of the release of much-expected Transformers movie. Gundam speakers, lets say, is an average attempt on their part. Why? Two reasons: for one, Gundam isn’t even related to the Transformers, and two, the speakers are low on features.

Once you look beyond the fact that the flaps behind Gundam’s head open up to reveal a pair of stereo speakers, there is nothing left to be exited about. So what if they are battery powered (2AA batteries.) Their sound quality is, to put mildly, poor. The only solace is that being battery powered, you can at least carry them around to attach to your iPod whenever and wherever you want to.

Strictly for nerds who are die-hard Gundam fans. Choose from amongst the three available colors: Full Color, Clear, and Event. No info about their price and/or availability. Maybe for Koreans only.

Hey, what you have to say about this gadget? Seriously not a device for people like me, and I wouldn’t prefer this over my real finger. It may find some use with the people who are quite lazy and often with the laid back kind of personalities. And seriously speaking, it may give a feeling of having somebody else’s finger in your nose. Just think of an innovative idea but not one like this.

Whenever there is a new electronic item in my house, my immediate reaction is to run for its bubble wrap covering before someone else gets his hands on it.

And I’m sure no one can resist the temptation of popping those bubbles.

Bandai Asovision of Japan has indeed hit the soft spot of the bubble wrap lovers by introducing PuchiPuchi- a bubble wrap popping simulator.

PuchiPuchi features 8 buttons which are filled with air, and when you press them you achieve the same satisfaction that you get by popping those real bubbles. To make the experience more realistic, the gadget comes with a speaker which makes the popping sound.

To keep your interest alive, the gadget includes 8 special sounds like ‘door chime’ and ’sexy voice’ which comes as a bonus popping sound after every 100 pops.

The PuchiPuchi is the size of a keychain and perfect to carry along with you in your pocket.

We have seen some wonderful LCD TV presented in the CES 2007 at Las Vegas, but there were some weird screens or displays in the lineup as well.

Magic Mirror LCD TV, featuring a camera to reflect whatsoever in front of it when not in use as an actual screen or TV, by Konka is a similar sort of strange display that may spontaneously draw your attention. Finished with leopard spots with a gloss coat and alligator-skin imprinted texture gives the Magic Mirror display even wacky manifestation. No words on pricing and availability.

Let me tell you this keyboard is not for computer beginners.

Das Keyboard thinks that if you have to speed up your typing skills then you ought to do that without looking at the keys.

Das Keyboard also has done the same; they have developed a keyboard with no letters printed on the keys. This is to ensure that when you type you don’t get any assistance from the keyboard itself.

Das Keyboard also boasts of mechanical gold plated key switches which gives the keys a very long life of 50 million strokes.

This is the weirdest keyboard that I have come across in my life. We usually find keyboards that have weird shapes and sizes, but this is without any printed key letters...!

It may look like it has something different in it but if you give it a much closer look then you may also get in a bad mood.

First of all the size of this weird device is a big problem as no one would like to have such a big device attached to a finger and the things get worse when you get to know that it is not a wireless mouse.

Secondly the designers should also have thought that how will a person use a keyboard when this is on?

You may try it with different fingers but after some time you surely will get back to a more traditional mouse...!

Briefcases are not only meant to carry your belongings. Now, a new briefcase has been developed that might not contain a single piece of your clothing but it can be used as a portable lavatory.

Yes, it is not a joke that I am trying to play with you because this compact briefcase can really help you during the most constipated times in your traveling life.

This waterproof briefcase is encased in high quality Mahogany leather, a strong lightweighted aluminium internal structure and a stainless steel bowl with generously equipped sealing lid.
Its fold out leather privacy panel can be easily pushed away sideways after completing your task, it also carry paper dispenser that easily swings out and can be conveniently stored in an inconspicuous storage compartment under the padding when not in use.

The maximum recommended weight capacity of this Gotta Go Briefcase is 80 Kilos.

What’s better than a personal commuter Segway its Jegway.
Whether it is better than a Segway you decide.

Start it and you can jog to your office. The tiny little feet’s will help you commute but it looks funny when you will see the video.

No info on mileage and horse power front. Just joking!

Who manufactured it? Is it aimed for mass production?

Frankly I do not know but what you can do is watch the video and have a heartily laugh to de-stress.
