The Cocoon from Uono reminds me the Mummy, though I haven’t encountered the privileged ones who rested in style in such a trendy coffin. Thinking like this must have gone in the minds of those diabolic Mummy crafters, however, that was for the hope and this one is spawned from art. The lightweight (20kg) coffin is the creation by Andreas Spiegel, made up of soy-based resin and lined with jute.

The basic Cocoon starts at around $3,500 since several options are available, they are in 14 colors and can be made crafted with silk upon request. The Cocoon is CO2 neutral and water-based varnish making the body safe for ten or fifteen years.

Certainly, this deserves to be your final abode fabricated with compassion and delicacy.

Be an observer and play with the life since nothing is absolute. Therefore, leave yourself to the fate and see what the destiny has concealed for you in her lap.

This four-tiered Fortune’s Navigator suggests which direction to turn and warns during special circumstances along the way. Spin the dial at every crossroad and let Fate lead your journey. The edges alert to unusual situation along the way, the inner circle suggests which direction to turn and the center encourages you to notice finer.

Be clever no more! Online detector will seize you red handed. Internal Affairs and Communications Ministry of Japan is going to spend a huge amount of 300 million yen (approximately $2.56 million) to develop online lie-detector.

It will dig-out illicit online information. The process will carry full transparency in finding out the convict. To employ trustworthy Web-based sources related to investigation is major hindrance.

Good news for mobile phone users. A patent has been requested for a mobile phone which would include light panels to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

It is interesting to know that people who suffer from SAD experience normal mental health usually round the year but suffer from depressive symptoms during winter. This disorder is also said to be prevalent in mid-latitude places i.e. places with mild winters since it is related to daylight and not temperature.

This patent would enable the phone to include number of light panels on the face of the phone which would make use of ‘light therapy’ on users face while the phone is in use.

People suffering from SAD are recommended the use of bright lights at a dose of 10,000 lux for 30-60 minutes everyday. Thus the lights from the phone would help to soothe the patient.

This is a real Hand Grenade! But don’t worry as this one would not explode. Designed by Dutchman Piet Houtenbos, this is actually a Hand Grenade Oil Lamp but is made from real US army surplus grenades and to give it a touch of authenticity the bottom is sealed with a genuine US Quarter.

This candle burns for 24 continuous hours when filled with oil. Although they don’t explode but the prices are good enough to explode you. They are priced at $40 to $60.

Hey, wanna go for a hunting expedition. Look what is here for the trip, the Electric Fly Swatter.

Even a simple swing of the swatter is enough for flying insects such as mosquitoes, gnats, and flies. Since the output power is moderately low thus proving harmful only to bugs however, be cautious the net will become hot when activated.

So what are you waiting, have the revenge and drive away the intruders. Seems ridiculous, just use it as you are playing tennis.

Price $9.95
