A list has been released which displays ‘Top 5 Atari-related Gadgets/projects’. All of us have happened to play one of Atari’s games. Go ahead and take a look at these weird gaming gadgets.








5. The Pong Clock: It is a clock with a Pong game installed in it. It features a laser engraved logo, custom designed circuit board and power supply with plug converters.



The clock measures 180 x 120 x 30 mm and weighs 500g.



4. Portable X-Box: Created by Dave it was his way to pay tribute to Atari Jaguar. The Jaguar was released in November 1993 for a sale price of $249.99. The system’s marketing was restricted only in the New York City and the San Francisco Bay areas.



3. Giant Joystick: It was created by Mary Flanagan. This joystick is up to 9 ft tall and it requires players perform movements in order to engage with the game and makes them acknowledge the fact of shared space and also the necessity for shared strategies and approaches to pursue their goal.



2. Atari 800 XE Laptop: This laptop has an eight inch TFT display, dual speakers, a CF card reader, keyboard, joystick and Atari controls.

1. The Pacman Game: Here the game is played against real crickets. Instead of those standard ghosts there were animals and real maze was built for the animals to walk around. The game uses color tracking via a camera to detect the presence of the animals in the maze.
