A new addition to all the gadgets that surround our bedrooms, an undergrad in the Parsons School of design in New York, Rebecca Stern, has designed a ‘Chatter Pillow’. A mid term project this pillow allows her to receive instant messages while lying comfortably on her bed without the burden of a laptop or a UMPC. One of the lights in the given three icons will become blue when her boyfriend sends one of these messages ‘talk to me’, ‘xo’ and ‘on my way’. Based on the Plushie Message Framework the chatter pillow will use wireless technique to send a message to pillow from PC. On receiving the message the appropriate light will glow up on any of the three symbols displayed in the picture. Now a pillow can indeed be your best friend. Via: Makezine
