A new addition to all the gadgets that surround our bedrooms, an undergrad in the Parsons School of design in New York, Rebecca Stern, has designed a ‘Chatter Pillow‘.
A mid term project this pillow allows her to receive instant messages while lying comfortably on her bed without the burden of a laptop or a UMPC.
One of the lights in the given three icons will become blue when her boyfriend sends one of these messages ‘talk to me’, ‘xo’ and ‘on my way’.
Based on the Plushie Message Framework the chatter pillow will use wireless technique to send a message to pillow from PC.
On receiving the message the appropriate light will glow up on any of the three symbols displayed in the picture.
Now a pillow can indeed be your best friend.

I find this incredibly stupid!! I mean are we inventing things just for the sake of random invention now? When I am sleeping I prefer not to be disturbed and all the lights and notifications is just going to make me very grumpy. If you want to chat with someone, it’s easier to use a laptop or perhaps a cell phone, which is very very convenient.
Personally I would be freaked to rest on some gadget that glows and makes sounds. How in the world is this phenomenal invention?? Everything right from the name to the look to the concept receives a thumb down! Please stop being so lazy people and deject such stupidity.
