People and designers
are now more aware of the alternative sources of energy like sun and wind. Some people create some good stuff using these energy sources and some just give it a try with some senseless products.

This product is of the second kind. The Elica lamp made by an Italian design firm has an attached wind sensor to it and is priced at $200.

All the work the wind energy does in the lamp is that it can switch the lamp on and off. All you have to do is to blow on the ‘helix’ or propeller attached to the lamp to turn it on or off. Otherwise the lamp is totally powered by an electrical socket.

The lamp priced at $200 will not attract many buyers or should I say no buyers at all...!
